HSSC update Friday 19th October 2018

From the Club Sec.

Dear Members,

Pickle Night Sat 3 Nov - Book is now open. Your are most welcome to come along to this light hearted fun evening stepping back in time to life onboard 'Pickle'. Come along and support the evening - Cost is £17 per person includes music, food and a tot of rum.

Winter Lifts - Please ensure you have completed a Winter Lift form before attempting to book a lift date with Stewart. Due to our staffing situation it would be helpful if boat owners could bring an additional person to assist with the boat handling during lift out. Those members using their own cradles are asked to ensure they are maintained and made ready in good time ahead of their boat lift-out.

Securing of Boats - Changeable weather is upon us!!. Please be prepared and ensure your boats are properly secured and fendered. If you require some guidance please ask and the Marina staff will be willing to help.

Electric Meter Leads - There are still a number of berthholders who are plugged in but have not yet drawn a meter lead - without a meter electric usage is charged at £2 per day.

Friday Meat Raffle - The weekly meat raffle is back up and running, tickets can be purchased Mon - Fri from behind the bar.

Waste Disposal - Only dispose of general waste or recycling in the bins provided. We are receiving reports from the waste company that hazardous waste items are being disposed of as general waste. If in doubt consult the Marina staff or myself in the office.

Logs - For a limited period logs are available FREE of charge from the Marina staff.

Reminder to Carry Membership ID - Please remember to carry your in-date Club ID cards at all times and to show to security staff on request.
